About Costanza
I am an Architect with a PhD in Civil Engineering and more than 22 years of teaching experience in structural subjects.
I graduated in Architecture with honor and later specialized in structural Engineering, completing a PhD in Civil Engineering in 2013. I began my academic career as a teaching assistant at Roma Tre University in 2004 and was also involved in research, including a research period at EPFL in Lausanne.
After my PhD, I founded my own private tutoring business, ScienzaTecnica, where I work with Engineering and Architecture students at undergraduate, Master's and postgraduate level.
My background in both Architecture and Civil Engineering allows me to explain structural concepts from a perspective that is particularly suited to Architecture students, connecting structural behavior, mechanics and design in a clear and accessible way.
I teach students from Italy and internationally, and I am passionate about helping students develop a real understanding of structures and become confident in approaching structural problems.

I help Architecture students understand structural concepts and structural behavior in a clear, intuitive and rigorous way.
My lessons focus on Architectural Structures, Structural Mechanics, Statics and the analysis of structural systems, helping students understand how loads, supports, reactions and internal forces determine the behavior of a structure.
Over more than 22 years of teaching, I have developed my own method that combines scientific rigor with a visual and intuitive approach, making structural problems easier to understand and solve.
Lessons are highly interactive and tailored to each student's university course, assignments and exam requirements. Using a digital whiteboard and pen display, I explain each problem step by step and then guide students towards solving similar problems independently.
My aim is not simply to teach formulas and procedures, but to help Architecture students understand how structures actually work.
