About Martin
A typical lesson feels like a focused charette where we push the boundaries of your current draft. Most people assume that good design happens in a flash of inspiration, but I find it arrives through iterative refinement. We work through sustainable design principles and AutoCAD workflows to ensure your project is both functional and imaginative. I provide a weekly design challenge with critique to sharpen your ability to defend your creative choices.
My 6 years of experience as a practitioner means I treat you like a colleague in a professional firm. We focus on the details that make a project successful. I invite you to bring your current work to our next session for a review.

Graduating with an MArch and MSA while working in computational design taught me that space is about more than just aesthetics. I spent 6 years in practice before shifting my energy to teaching. My journey involves balancing the rigour of building materials with the playfulness of concept development. I bring expertise in 3D modelling and site analysis to help you navigate your architectural history and floor planning projects.
My background in Maths and CS adds a layer of precision to my spatial planning advice. I want to help you build a professional portfolio that stands out in a competitive field. It is a pleasure to guide you through these complex creative challenges.
