About Phoebe
My interest in architecture began with fascination for how environments influence human feeling and behavior. I earned a B.Arch in Environmental Architecture, where I studied design systems that balance creativity with sustainability and function. Over 10 years of teaching, I have supported students in developing both technical understanding and artistic confidence.
I believe architecture should be taught through patience, exploration, and clear structure. My teaching style focuses on helping learners break large projects into manageable steps while encouraging originality. I enjoy working with students who feel unsure at first, guiding them toward stronger creative clarity.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to architecture through design research, urban studies, and continual sketch practice. Teaching is deeply rewarding because students often transform from hesitation into confident expression. Supporting learners as they discover their architectural potential is something I truly value.

Architecture becomes meaningful when students learn that design is not only about buildings, but also about people, purpose, and experience. In my lessons, I guide learners through design thinking, form development, spatial planning, and architectural expression in a supportive and structured way. I help students understand how ideas evolve into spaces that communicate identity, function, and emotion.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s level. Beginners explore sketching basics, composition, architectural vocabulary, and simple concept building. Intermediate learners develop stronger project organization, model reasoning, material awareness, and design refinement. Advanced students focus on portfolio presentation, sustainable design principles, professional workflows, and narrative development in architectural projects. Feedback is always clear and encouraging.
Architecture lessons help students grow creatively while also building discipline and confidence. Many learners discover their unique design voice as they gain structure in their thinking. My goal is to help students feel inspired, capable, and prepared for architectural study or future creative practice.
