About Ali
I lived in Sweden for 18 months and speak the language fluently, and I know exactly what it feels like to try and learn another language as an adult, and for that language to be Swedish.

Are you an English speaker that wants to learn Swedish? I was once like you and had to go through the process of learning Swedish in my early 30s. I know what it's like to try and learn that language from the outside and I appreciate the bits that are difficult for English speakers (in a way that native Swedes don't have so much ability to relate to).
My tutoring style is very student-centred. I discuss the learning style and experience of the student before creating a lesson plan and navigating that plan together, revising and adapting the plan depending on the progress of the individual. I'm very patient and understanding of what it's like to be trying to learn Swedish as an English speaker, so you never have to worry that I'm not going to get why you can't understand something or that some parts are going to be harder than others.
