About Rafael
I'm a senior lecturer in architecture with a decade of experience in academia and practice with experience in firms such as Toyo Ito and Jean Nouvel's. I have taught students of various levels in renowned architecture schools in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Australia. I use Rhino daily to construct projects at various scales, from digitally fabricated models, to pavilions, to buidlings.

The lessons can be structured based on your personal needs. I can help you with assignments, setting up files for fabrication, understanding modelling logic, or teaching you the software step by step from starting the program, showing you the key features and components that will allow you to produce accurate and complex 3D geometries along with deliverables.
I can teach you parametric design and the process of preparing files for digital fabrication.
Key Lessons
-2D representation:
generating linework drawings, drafting tools, annotation tools, layouts, and printing
-3D modelling:
surfaces, solids, modelling tools, deformations/ transformations, complex geometries
-Visualisation: graphics, illustration, diagramming, and
rendering through the Rhino render engine for presentations.
-V-Ray: Rendering
-Parametrics:
Grasshopper
Each lesson is 1 hour long. It aims to teach beginners how to become proficient in the software, and more knowledgeable students how to be more efficient when modelling, organising your files, and getting the most outputs from your file. I have been teaching this for over a decade to undergrad and master's students at international institutions.
