About Lauren
Teaching bluegrass and old-time traditions helps me preserve the music that shaped my life. 13 years of gigging across the country defines my perspective. My journey began as a self-taught player before I spent 6 years teaching others.
I currently hold 271 students within my studio community. Orchestral techniques and music theory are staples in my instruction.

Starting out is rarely as intimidating as it seems when you have the right foundation. We begin by assessing your current skill set to build a customized plan for growth. You will navigate double stops and intricate scales with careful guidance rooted in my 6 years of experience.
Precision in rhythm and timing transforms how you handle your instrument during performances. I provide free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep you on track.
