About Mabel
Floor planning and spatial planning are the bedrock of my instruction after 10 years in the field. My Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from MIT ensures that structural integrity and geometry remain central to every project. I guide students through sustainable design, 3D modeling, model making, building materials, hand sketching, and portfolio development. It is quite rewarding to see technical drafts transform into physical models that reflect a clear vision.

Diagnostic portfolio assessment first is the standard for my initial meeting with any student. This 6.0 rated evaluation provides a clear snapshot of where your current skills stand before we begin building your technical knowledge of spatial design or material selection. After teaching 157 students, I have learned that the transition from a messy sketch to a professional layout requires patience and a deep understanding of structural geometry. I integrate my background in mathematics to ensure that your proportions and building systems are grounded in reality while keeping the creative process at the forefront of our work.
Whether we are refining a floor plan or perfecting a 3D model, the focus remains on building your confidence through clear, methodical feedback. I look forward to helping you refine your design voice.
