I am textile designer with a specialisation in textile design . Since completing my post graduate training at RCA London I have taught on degree courses and have been teaching art & crafts in community centres in Norfolk . This has involved teaching groups and one to one lessons with mixed ages and groups with mental and physical disabilities .My teaching style is very relaxed and methodology is to implement a variety of teaching methods to suit individual needs , This enables each person to reach their full potential . Through creative tutoring help you to learn new skills and inspire you in a creative manner.
I have been teaching for over 20 years . Whilst teaching have taught to Degree level at Liverpool University on BA printed textile design course and have within my community based art & craft workshops taught 100s of people .
Teaching has been so rewarding with an immense sense of achievement to see the self confidence and sense of well being that creative projects can give to people .
There will be some costs for special materials brought for the creative projects .
