Art/design history tutor and author, willing to share knowledge and experience

Methodology

I want to continue helping students in small groups or one to one with their academic assignments, such as essays and presentations, and to act as a mentor. I can arrange FaceTime or similar class room scenarios, or possibly visits. It may also be possible to have lectures/tutorials in London at relevant galleries/museums.

Experience

After gaining a Masters degree in Art and design history, I began teaching the subject at Kingston University, on a number of different modules, transferring those skills to other academic institutions such as Oxford Brookes and the V & A. Since 2004 I have also written over 20 titles on art and design history. I am also a fully qualified Blue Badge Tourist guide and regularly take small groups on tours of galleries, museum and historic sites.
