About Susan
I have taught art for 30 years within mainstream schools, special schools for children with special needs (specifically autism) and for 20 years with disillusioned and sometimes angry children within a pupil referral unit setting. I have always pursued my own art and resigned from teaching in 2023 to immerse myself in my own art practice. I have partaken in various exhibitions. I continue to learn about art, joining a clay workshop where I learnt much about the joys of clay and more recently joining a printmaking course, which has been extremely interesting and very fruitful.
