I teach from KS1 up to A Level in English as well as GCSE science. I start by assessing the pupils learning style and constructing a teaching methodology from that assessment. I start as the basics and believe in actively practising essay formats.
I am a art graduate from LAU with a passion for reading, dance and painting. I have a natural aptitude for linguistics as I speak another language. Also I attained an award in 2014 for excellence in English Language at A Level.
Leeds Arts University BA Fine Art 2017-2020
I am an Art Graduate whose recent practice explores the cultural representation of women as the ‘seductive temptress’. My art challenges this stereotype and subverts the notion of traditional archetypes. It is an act of rebellion against the constraints of the male gaze, and both the liberation and celebration of the women.
I am currently a Student Ambassador; this involves efficiently managing interviews and providing information highlighting the unique education and opportunities attending art school offers in addition to leading tours and promoting the city of Leeds. In April of 2018 I was part of the Marketing team promoting the end of year show exhibition at Wharf Chambers Leeds. My responsibilities consisted of community outreach and getting endorsement from local businesses. Furthermore, in 2018 was shortlisted for John Lewis's 'Loved&Found' exhibition.
Hull Collegiate School 2014-2016
I Studied Theatre Studies, English Language, Art and Design and English Literature achieving A,A,A,B. I continued Theatre, English Language and Art into my A levels achieving ABB. In addition, I won the Excellence in English Language award for the class of 2016. I was heavily involved in the performing arts; teaching workshops on physical and Brechtian theatre I had learnt working with various UK and international theatre companies including Shared Experience. Furthermore, I tutored Maths and English to KS2 pupils, helping build their knowledge, skills and confidence.
Beverley High School 2009-2014
I left High School with 10 GCSE A*-C. I also won the Excellence In Religious Education Award for the class of 2014. During my time at high school I tutored KS2 Maths to pupils; strengthening their academic abilities and self-esteem. In addition, I was a member of Chess Club where I improved my tactic and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, I was heavily involved in the creative arts; performing in a variety of voluntary and academic performances.
Leeds Arts University Exhibition Marketing March 2020-May 2020
For my final year at university I organised a collective exhibition titled “Ambiguity”, which was due to be held at The Brunswick in Leeds. My responsibilities included managing promotion and marketing via official social media pages, inviting alumni and placing posters around the institute. However, due to the Covid-19 outbreak the exhibition was postponed. I decided to adapt to the situation and create an online exhibition platform using Wix and updated the public that they could now access the exhibition virtually. Leeds Arts University Student Ambassador January 2019- May 2020
As a Student Ambassador it is my role to promote the institution to prospective students. My responsibilities include articulately answering any questions applicants may have; not only about LAU but the city of Leeds, local infrastructure and culture. I assist managing interviews; signing applicants in, supervising them until their interviews and leading tours. Furthermore, as an ambassador I represented LAU at University fairs and community outreach in local schools.
Leeds Arts University Social Media Marketing April 2019 - May 2019
During Level 5 myself and my fellow peers formed an art collective and held an Exhibition called 'Hyper-Reality'. My role within this was social media marketing; I was responsible for promoting the event on various social media platforms and inviting students/alumni. For example, my responsibilities including creating and maintaining the official Facebook page for the event; uploading previews, engaging with the online community and sharing the event.
East Riding Theatre Actor November 2015 - January 2016
I was an actor in ERT's "Oliver!". My role within the company included performing; physical theatre, musical theatre and dance. I engaged with the audience, public and gave interviews to my colleges' journal. Not only did I get to express myself creatively, I developed my self discipline, interpersonal and communication skills.
Hull Truck Theatre Teaching Assistant April 2014 – May 2014
For one week as part of the Student Work Experience Initiative, I became an assistant drama teacher and administrative assistant in Hull. Throughout this week I helped teach theatre techniques and drama to several groups of local people with disabilities, children and teenagers. In addition, I was responsible for coordinating the release of letters to the guardians of all our youth members, organising the office and helping with advertisement design.

As part of the LU Vertical Fitness Society I took part in a fundraising Circus Showcase for Basis Yorkshire; supporting women and girls at risk of exploitation. My responsibilities included engaging the public on campus, giving flyers, choreographing and performance.
L4 Exhibition Marketing Team March 2018- April 2018
I was part of the marketing team for my L4 end of year exhibition held at Wharf Chambers in Leeds. The team’s responsibilities included engaging and inviting alumni, persons of notoriety as well as the public to attend and network. In addition, we were responsible for engaging local businesses for sponsorship, advertisement and running various social media campaigns.
Volunteer Art Teacher February 2018
I organised and taught an art activities day to Year 4 pupils, in which I promoted the fun and opportunities of pursuing art. During this day we collectively explored how art aids expression and fuels imagination, as well as the therapeutic benefits on behaviour and communication skills.
Russian Community Representative 2008- 2011
I represented the Russian and Eastern European community in Hull at the annual Youth Parliament. I voiced the concerns of my community, engaged in political debate on education, identity, and public spaces.
I am deeply passionate about the creative arts, from literature to contemporary dance. I am an active member of Leeds Pole Fitness community: where I train for a variety of performances from charity showcases to national competitions. In addition, as a person of a multicultural background and international family I have the privilege of being widely travelled to countries as far afield as Thailand and Russia. In addition, as a Russian dual national I am lucky to speak another language which is used extensively across the world; it also provides me with a natural aptitude to learning new languages as well as understanding different cultures. In regard to my mixed heritage, I am extremely fascinated with history, particularly ancient history and the forming of nations, which I believe is still relative to international politics today. Recently during lockdown, I began a book blog via Instagram which reviews and promotes various novels called fiction-addictionn. I also completed my course in suicide awareness, as I am a big advocate for mental health.
