About Casimir
¡Hola estudiantes! My name is Casimir. As an art history enthusiast, I bring a unique perspective to the world of tutoring, blending the beauty of visual arts with the richness of the Spanish language.
I hold a degree in Art History from Florida International University, where my love for unraveling the narratives within masterpieces ignited. Combining this academic foundation with my fervor for the Spanish language, specifically my interest in Latin American Art History and Visual Culture, I've seamlessly transitioned into the realm of tutoring, eager to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with fellow learners.
I used to take both AP Spanish Language and Culture and AP Spanish Literature as a high school student and passed both exams with a 5, and I believe that with my background as well as my experience having taken the exams myself, I can help students unlock their greatest potential and improve upon their skills not only in the language itself, but also in the context of maintaining conversations in Spanish and knowing more about the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries and their histories.
As an immigrant myself, I also understand the struggle of many young Latinos who want to know more of their own culture and know how to speak in the language of their heritage. Nothing brings me more joy than to be able to share my knowledge and love for the language, its history, and the versatility of its cultures through tutoring.

Unleash your linguistic creativity as we delve into the poetic landscapes of Spanish. From the soul-stirring verses of Neruda to the eloquence of Cervantes, our sessions are designed to be engaging and interdisciplinary, transporting students to worlds painted with words from renowned authors of the Spanish language and connecting students' learning to real world events and topics. These lessons are designed for students taking AP Spanish Language and Culture and/or AP Spanish Literauture at the middle school and high school levels.
Why learn? I am passionate tutor: an art history student turned Spanish enthusiast, ready to share the joy of the language, literature, history, art and culture of the Hispanic world. Students will also learn to draw parallels between their favorite artworks and the beauty of the Spanish language for a holistic tutoring experience.
