About Laura
I am a university Architecture student, who has experience in giving art lessons, in the summer holidays and at weekends, for children. Lessons teach a wide range of medias watercolours, acrylics, oils, sketching, photography, charcoals, pastels and cover many areas still life, shading, perspective, observation, surrealism, expressionism, modern, contemporary, pop art and even Architecture.
Whilst I was at college I ran weekly lessons for over two years, before I went to university. Lessons are always structured, informative and yet fun lessons. As some of my students have grown up, I have time to taken on new students for this summer. Lessons were typically one and a half hours (but this is flexible) and follow a workshop format. Previously students have ranged from age 6-10 but I`m happy to teach anybody who enjoys being creative.
I have an A in A-level Art, a First Class BA (hons) in Architecture from the university of Lincon and l am currently studying my Part II Architecture (Ma) at Glasgow School of Art.
Individual or small groups, in hour or 1.5 hour slots.
Vast range of mediums.
Lessons from June-August.
I have taught art lesson on a part-time basis for over 5 years.

Lessons are varied to each student's main areas of interest and based intially on smaller development tasks, eg. shading, observation, before progressing to larger pieces of work. A student is given a summary sheet each lessons covering what they have worked on to build up a full complete of sketchbook/folder of skills, activities and information they can always revisit.
