About Nicola
I am a passionate photographer and visual artist, working with mixed media including 3D and sculpture. I have a love of education at all levels and believe both in art from an academic standpoint and as a pastoral perspective.
I am currently studying my PhD in the existence of a 3rd ambiguous digital view, enticed by new wave art tourism. Whilst my research is progressing well I am keen to gain more tutoring hours to add to my CV.
I work well with adults and children of all ages and enjoy seeing them flourish both artistically and personally with the skills that the arts have to offer. I enjoy the work I do, and I have been thrilled to tutor children in both A Level and GCSE arts and to teach large private art classes.

Art isn't about failure, it's about expression and thought. Good teaching doesn't teach you how to copy the masters, or lead you down one specific route. Effective arts tutoring helps you expand your own practice, it encourages you to face your artistic fears by challenging your knowledge and teasing out of you what you didn't know you had.
