About Rita
Hello, my name is Rita and I am a graduated art student from Ontario. I am formally trained artist, art critic, and art historian in process. I have created artworks in both abstract and realism realms. Although, I am happy to see new skills and ideas developed as we progress together.

This class is for everyone of all ages and levels. I teach basic skills of formative art training, starting by building the foundation, and then I inspired you to developed your own style and practice your creativity. I am a strong believer in 'learn the rules, before you break them.' In my lessons, I aim to teach the absolute basic elements such as the colour theory, how to draw with accuracy, perspective drawing, forms analysis intro to building 3-dimentional figures, and more. We will do a lot of observational drawings to start of with, until we move on to drawing from imagination and composing your own unique composition and subverting your techniques.
The medium can be a variety of your choice, however I am most proficient in dry-medium and acrylic paint in my own practice. Although, I am more than happy to get to know your natural skills and personal interests so that I can further assist you to achieve your artistic goal.
