About Ezgi

I studied Master of Performance and Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music. I did my Undergraduate Degree at Istanbul University State Conservatory. I have been on trials with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. I have been teaching for more than 10 years.

About the lesson

As a dedicated violin teacher, I prioritise creating a joyful and engaging learning experience for my students. While I emphasise the importance of mastering fundamentals, my approach is not overly strict; I believe that students should truly enjoy playing the violin. I am well-versed in the Suzuki, ABRSM, and Trinity methods, and I often use the Fiddle Time Series for beginners, though I tailor my materials to fit the age and goals of each student. My students can expect fun, dynamic lessons designed to make learning this challenging instrument as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Ezgi is a friend of mine and we met at the Royal College of Music two years ago.
She’s a wonderful musician and person. Ezgi is very patient with fellow musicians and is very passionate as wells as career driven. Since coming to London, she has really expanded her teaching and has built a noticeable amount of students taking part in ABRSM and others. She’s an inspiration as a friend and as a fellow musician, so I’m certain she is a fantastic teacher.
