About Vedant
I am an artist and I paint with oil paints on canvas. My work is available for sale and display on my website.
I have been sketching since childhood, and started painting two years ago, and have made over 70 paintings since.

Most of my work is surreal and abstract in nature, but I am not limited to these two styles. I do not paint portraits. I paint using both brush and palette knives. Sometimes I have a predetermined picture in mind, which I sketch in my notebook before painting on canvas. Other times I have a rough idea which keeps on evolving as I start painting. Since oil paint dries slower, I have enough time to experiment with the colors, textures and shades before it dries down.
