About Marta
My name is Marta, I am 29 years old and have been working in the special effects industry for 3 years. I am a specialist in the FX and CFX department for film and video games. I have worked in Montreal, Australia and Madrid in films such as Godzilla, The Men in Black, Shazam or Xmen Dark Phoenix among others. I started my career at MPC as FX (rain, fire, smoke, aka particle destruction, volumes, rbd) and continued at Method Studio as CFX (hair, clothing, muscle, alien skin). I mostly use Houdini and Maya. If you want to learn the basics and technique to be able to specialize in it, we can do it together :)

Your classes will be totally practical and with an open configuration depending on what you want to focus on. Motivation is a very important part of learning. We will play from particles to volumes through RBD, both in Maya and in Houdini. You will work with both softwares simultaneously as in a high performance work environment. In the first class we will decide if you want to enter from 0 or directly prepare your reel (Including tips for a reel that will attract the attention of recruiters!).
