About Genevieve
I am a mother to 6 children and currently home educate 3. I have such a love for teaching and bringing creativity to the lives of those around me. I left formal teaching some time ago to grow my own creative path in life. I chose to carve out a path of teaching/mentoring that gifted me and my students the freedom to explore outside of a classroom setting. I found I often perferred working with small groups or with some one on a one to one setting as this gifted both the student and myself time for connections to build which instilled high levels of trust leading to fun experiences with positive outcomes and great results.

My teaching style varies according to the students needs and desired outcomes. I am a believer of meeting the student where they are and encouraging them to confidently discover thier unique style. I have a wide range of creative experience from Textiles to Fine Art. My qualifcations are: BA Hons Fashion & Textiles & FE (PGCE). My experience is: 20 plus years of teaching and workshop facilitation working with a wide range of ages and abilities both in formal (Educational - secondary level) and informal settings (community groups). My lessons are aimed at GCSE/Alevel students, Home educators and Adults interested in Art, each lesson will last aprox 1 to 2 hours depending on my sstudents dessired outcome for the lessson.
