About Mel
As previously mentioned, in my considerable time working in art with groups and individuals of all abilities. My experience has gained me arts faciltating with the Ulster Museum for a number of years, and Community Arts Devlopment Officer, as well as Arts Trainer in training other artists in effective facilitation & tutoring.
I am also registered with many arts organisation to provide teaching services i.e. GT Gallery’s pool of artists, CAP artists' database & Play Resource register of artists.

I am visual artist, community artist, facilitator & tutor teaching across a wide variety of media including; drawing, mixed media and collage, life drawing, sculpture, painting. I can provide practical leisure and academic facilitating, tutoring and portfolio building advice in the aforementioned arts for: adult learners, as well as school, further education and higher education students, as individuals or groups.
I put high value on the personal attainment any arts activity can provide, being nothing but encouraging and patient in my approach. Able to adapt easily to the aims and needs of my students.
