About Amber
I’m an experienced Assistant Headteacher and qualified English teacher with over 12 years of teaching KS3 and KS4 English. Throughout my career, I’ve helped students of all abilities build confidence, develop a love of learning, and achieve results they didn’t think were possible. My leadership experience has given me a deep understanding of how students learn best and how to support them in reaching their full potential.
I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach. I enjoy getting to know each learner as an individual and adapting my lessons to suit their strengths, needs, and goals. Seeing students grow in confidence, become more independent, and achieve the grades they’ve been working towards is the most rewarding part of teaching. My aim is not only to improve exam performance but to equip students with the skills and self-belief they need to succeed long after our lessons have finished.

My lessons develop strong analytical and writing skills, reinforce key knowledge, and encourage students to become independent, resilient learners. Whether preparing for GCSE exams or building confidence in English, students leave each session with a deeper understanding and the skills to continue making progress independently.
