About Si
My 20 plus years experience in the world of Music Production has allowed me to build a vast amount of knowledge in Recording, Mixing and Mastering. For the last Six years I have been Mixing for artists out of the Sound Cavern, my own, purpose built studio based in North West Bristol (which was one of the first, three studio's in Bristol to implement a 7.1.4 system for Mixing in Dolby Atmos).
Although my main source of work is Mixing, I am able to personalise tutoring to accommodate a vast range of technical abilities. This ranges from beginners starting out,to seasoned pros looking to add their knowledge.
I have a car so travelling can be arranged, though I do strongly encourage students to come to the studio to see the set up and get hands on experience there. This is located in BS11.

A-level, degree, and adult learning students can enhance their skill sets through advanced lessons that teach practical techniques. These lessons incorporate scenarios I've created covering various aspects of music production, as well as opportunities to work on your own projects.
In addition I offer lessons in:
- Dolby Atmos Mixing
- Fold down mixes (Surround and Stereo)
- Binaural
- Headphone and speaker calibration (and its relevance)
