About Jarrod
My name is Jarrod, i was born and raised in Melbourne Australia. After graduating high school. I came to Brasil to live with my girlfriend and discover what a beautiful country it is. I began working as a free lance english teacher prior to coming but while being here i found more opportunities to work with people wanting to learn the language. I worked for a short period of time at Fisk as a native conversation teacher. I look forward to becoming a better teacher, and helping more students learn english.

My teaching method is focused on a communicative approach, I focus on teaching students in the same way they learn't their first language, through talking, and listening. Some students are visual learners some prefer writing the words down (etc). Repetition is always the key to learning a new language, so I always summarise over my lessons at the end. To ensure my students are always taking something from the lesson's.
Every class is personalised for each student, I teach my students different types of expressions in English and how to construct a sentence (etc). I can guarantee you will see your English improve in no time! .
