I’m a producer who has worked with Daniel on a few projects and I’ve watched him work with trainees and apprentices on and off sets before.

Daniel is an excellent teacher. He has a natural aptitude for wanting to lead and teach in a hands on environment but it also translates to a online/remote setting. He understands the technical but always goes backs to the story and the why.

Daniel’s style is direct but collaborative going between the two. He wants to work with people who are willing to learn the most. If you’re up for really learning then the relationship will thrive. I would highly recommend him.

Daniel is one of my greatest mentors and inspirations in the film industry. Not only picking his brain to become a better photographer, but also become a better professional by working alongside him. His knowledge as a cinematographer is beyond anyone I have known, and he is always looking to improve his work and give a hand to others to improve their own.

I have had the pleasure of working with Daniel for the past seven years, and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional Director of Photography. He has a remarkable eye for detail, a strong visual sensibility, and a thoughtful approach to his craft. Daniel is incredibly meticulous in his work, always making sure that every frame is carefully considered and beautifully executed. His experience, technical knowledge, and creative decisions make him a valuable collaborator, and I believe anyone who has the opportunity to learn from him would benefit tremendously from his expertise.
