About Tzion
My aim is to help each student discover their own photographic voice. Every photographer has a different way of seeing, and I want to help you discover what makes your perspective unique, whether you are learning the fundamentals or developing an established creative practice.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s experience, interests and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, an enthusiastic hobbyist, a photography student or an emerging photographer, we will first establish where you are and what you want to achieve.
From there, I create a progressive learning plan combining practical exercises, creative projects, portfolio reviews and critical discussion. I also introduce relevant photographers, artists, exhibitions, literature and philosophical ideas to help develop your understanding of photography and your own visual language. My teaching style is relaxed, playful and encouraging, while still providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, although longer sessions can be arranged for practical work or more extensive portfolio and project reviews.
I have studied photography for five years, completing both a BA and MA in Photography, and have worked as a fine art photographer since graduating. My work has been exhibited internationally, published and recognised through photography awards. I have also been invited to critique third-year students at Kingston University and MA Photography students at the University of the Arts London, helping them develop their work and prepare for exhibitions.
