About Karah
I know just how overwhelming nursing studies can feel — subjects like pharmacology and pathophysiology are complex, dense, and often thrown at students in a way that feels impossible to keep up with. I’ve been there, and I understand how stressful it can be. My goal is to help you navigate these heavy topics in a way that actually makes sense so that you can feel confident, capable, and in control of your learning. I love making learning visual, practical, and real — using slides, diagrams, and examples you can see and apply in real-life clinical situations. I also adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles, including neurodivergent strategies, so every student can find a way to learn that works for them. My aim is not just to help you pass exams, but to help you understand, retain, and apply knowledge without the stress and overwhelm that often comes with these subjects. I want you to feel supported, empowered, and even excited about mastering your nursing studies!

My teaching style is highly visual and interactive. I use slides, diagrams, and prepared resources to make complex concepts in pharmacology and pathophysiology easier to understand, rather than relying on heavy text-based approaches.
Lessons typically run for 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs.
I am a Registered Nurse currently working in an Acute Medical Unit, and I hold a University Medal with a perfect GPA of 7.0/7.0 from Charles Darwin University. I was also a PASS Leader for pharmacology, pathophysiology, and professional practice, as well as a Peer Advisor running one-on-one academic support appointments for nursing students for three years.
My lessons are designed for university-level nursing students who want to build confidence in pharmacology, pathophysiology, and professional practice, improve their academic writing and research, or prepare effectively for exams and clinical placements.
My goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and ready to excel in your nursing degree!
