About Goudine
I have always been passionate about helping individuals discover their potential and navigate life's challenges with resilience. My journey in counselling stems from a deep understanding of the human capacity for growth, even in the face of adversity. This realization inspired me to pursue qualifications in psychology and counselling, where I explored how personal autonomy and resilience can transform lives.
During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and more. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, groups, and families, tailoring each session to meet their unique needs. My approach is rooted in empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard, ensuring a safe and collaborative space for my clients.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing. While my training provides evidence-based techniques, I see my role as a facilitator, guiding clients to uncover their inner strengths and resources. Whether addressing burnout, stress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to empower clients to embrace their resilience and achieve meaningful change.
I use an integrated counselling approach, drawing from various methodologies to adapt to each client's personal experiences and goals. By fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust and collaboration, I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey toward hope and autonomy.
Through this work, I am continually inspired by the courage and growth I witness, and I am committed to helping my clients thrive in all areas of their lives.

My approach is centred on fostering understanding, confidence, and autonomy in my students. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and overcome challenges at their own pace.
Languages: I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can comfortably teach in either language, ensuring clear communication and comprehension.
Students can expect interactive and practical sessions focused on building both foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills.
Target Students: My sessions are aimed at high school and university-level learners, as well as individuals seeking personal development or practical application of concepts in areas such as psychology, counselling, and personal growth.
