About Jennifer
I am recent graduate with my Bachelors in Education. I worked at multiple schools where I helped the ESL program with students who were foreign to the English language. I tutored students to help them achieve skills and goals to help them advance to a higher grade.

As an educator, I like to make sure that my students feel comfortable in the progress that they are making. I like to create a template or chart where students are documenting their progress as they go and also write notes after every class as well. I would begin my classes by checking in on how they feel about the content they have learned that day and so far. It is important for me not to overwhelm my students and to make sure they feel relaxed and heard. I would end the day by also giving them resources to help them remember certain topics we covered in the class such as a catchy song or acronym.
