About Tiara
Hi! I'm Tiara, a Bachelor of Finance student at the University of Malaya. I completed my Foundation at UM with a CGPA of 3.77, and I scored an A in Mathematics and a B+ in Additional Mathematics for SPM. As a university student, I wanted to earn some extra income by doing something I genuinely enjoy. Teaching Math also helps me refresh and strengthen my own knowledge while helping others improve. One of the main reasons I want to teach is because I know many students think they hate Math (because I hated Math), but I truly believe that once you understand the concepts and know how to solve the questions, it becomes one of the easiest and most enjoyable subjects. I hope I can help my students feel the same way and enjoy learning Math too.

I believe every student can excel in Maths with the right guidance and enough practice. My teaching approach is simple, step-by-step, and easy to follow. I will first explain each concept, demonstrate how to solve example questions, and then guide students as they solve similar questions on their own. Since Maths is a subject that improves through practice, I will provide plenty of exercises while sharing simple formulas, shortcuts, and exam tips that I have learned throughout my years of studying.
Lessons typically last 1–2 hours, depending on the student's learning pace and goals. Although I am new to professional tutoring, I have been teaching my younger brother, who will be sitting for his SPM next year, so I am familiar with the current syllabus and exam format.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Finance at the University of Malaya after completing my Foundation at the University of Malaya with a CGPA of 3.77. In SPM, I achieved an A in Mathematics and a B+ in Additional Mathematics.
My lessons are suitable for Primary, Secondary, and SPM students.
