About Elena
"I have been teaching violin for 3 years, and I enjoy helping students discover both skill and confidence through music. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Strings with a Violin specialization, and I believe every student learns in their own way. My lessons combine traditional Suzuki methods with modern improvisation techniques to create a balanced and engaging learning experience.
I place a strong focus on building accurate intonation, confident bowing, and steady rhythmical accuracy from the very beginning. Strong foundations make it easier for students to enjoy more challenging music later on. I remember a student who found rhythm difficult at first, and using simple improvisation games helped them play with much more confidence.
I believe creativity should grow alongside technique in every lesson. Students are encouraged to explore their own musical ideas while developing healthy playing habits. This balance helps them become expressive musicians instead of simply following instructions.
My goal is to help every student unlock their individual style while enjoying the learning process. I want each lesson to leave you feeling more confident, more curious, and excited to keep playing the violin."

"I believe every violin student has a unique musical voice waiting to be discovered. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence while developing strong technique and thoughtful musical expression. I encourage reflection because it helps students understand both their strengths and their next steps.
I use journaling, listening assignments, and self recording as regular parts of the learning process. For example, I often ask students to record a short performance, listen back, and write one thing they enjoyed along with one goal for the following week. These simple habits help students become more aware of their own progress.
Together, we explore tone individuality, artistic choices, self assessment, technical control, and expressive fluency. I encourage students to make personal musical decisions instead of simply copying another performance. Whether someone enjoys expressive stage performances or is returning to the violin after a long break, I provide patient guidance that builds confidence at every step.
I believe lasting progress comes from understanding yourself as well as your instrument. My aim is to help you trust your musical instincts while continuing to refine your skills with care and purpose. Every lesson is a chance to grow into a more confident, expressive, and independent musician."
