About Ella
"I have 7 years of experience teaching violin and helping students develop strong musical foundations. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Early Music with a focus on Baroque Violin, which has given me deep knowledge of historical performance and classical technique. I combine traditional training with modern approaches to help students explore different styles.
My lessons focus on bowing technique, vibrato, phrasing, and expressive interpretation. I help students understand how technical skills create meaningful musical performances. I also support learners with exam preparation and ensemble guidance to build confidence in both solo and group settings.
I have worked with students at different levels, from beginners building their first skills to experienced players improving their musical expression. I enjoy helping students discover the details that bring a piece to life, such as shaping a phrase or creating a warmer tone. These small discoveries often create the biggest improvements.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel inspired to grow. I look forward to helping you develop your violin skills and discover the beauty of expressive music making."

"My teaching approach begins by understanding each student's story and the challenges they face while learning violin. I have worked with students who struggled with posture, weak intonation, or losing motivation, and I help them rebuild confidence step by step. Every small improvement becomes a reminder that progress is possible with patience and the right guidance.
I focus on bow hold correction, scale discipline, finger placement, and expressive dynamics to create strong foundations. For example, a student who felt uncomfortable holding the violin learned simple posture exercises and gradually developed a more relaxed playing style. These changes helped them enjoy practice instead of feeling frustrated.
I also support students who want more structure, stronger expression, or faster progress by creating clear practice plans that match their goals. I use musical stories and practical examples to help students understand phrasing, emotion, and the purpose behind each technique. My lessons encourage both discipline and creativity.
I believe every violinist can grow when they feel supported and understood. My goal is to help students develop confidence, improve their sound, and enjoy the journey of learning music. With consistent practice and guidance, you can build the skills needed to express yourself beautifully through the violin."
