About Laly
My name is Laly, I'm 19 years old and I live alone in Paris in the 9th arrondissement. Currently in the English-Modern Letters double degree at La Sorbonne, I am interested in everything related to language and its specificities with a particular interest in literature and comparative linguistics. They allow the relation between two languages (or two eras) in order to bring out the richness of each. I have the CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) certifying level C1 and I am currently thinking about taking the CPE (Cambridge Proficiency English) at the end of the year which will attest my C2 level.
I learned English alone, with textbooks since my parents and my entourage are French. I joined the Lycée International de Luynes in the Bouches du Rhône in 1ère and so I benefited from a multidisciplinary teaching (literature, history-geography) completely in English.

Regarding the methodology of teaching I like to first familiarize myself with the student: discover his level, his hobbies and his approach to the subject -if he likes it or not. It is, in my opinion, more judicious from this information to agree with the student on his goals and / or ambitions. I approach teaching very freely, in my opinion everything is a reason to speak - be it to talk about politics or video games - because what matters is the student's development of skills.
