About Felicity
I am a guitar tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. I offer lessons tailored to beginners, advanced players, and those seeking mastery of authentic blues. My specialties include slide guitar, open tunings, and fingerpicking techniques. Students explore a variety of blues styles, including Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont. My teaching is encouraging, patient, and focused on expressive playing. I combine technical exercises with improvisation and performance practice. Each lesson emphasises rhythm, feel, and emotional expression. Lessons include exercises in harmony, rhythm, and phrasing to support expressive writing. Each session emphasises turning inspiration into coherent, performable music. Students practise arranging pieces for solo performance or small ensembles. I provide techniques to strengthen lyrical and musical storytelling.
