About Isaac
I have taught many students over the years. I started out my undergraduate degree as a music performance major. This stuck with me even after changing to a performance degree. I felt that being a musician required me to not only play, but also teach those around me about the music and how to play it. I have worked with many ages and skill levels. I try to apply different styles for each level and ability. I have worked with students with special needs and can help to bridge any gaps that may be required.

I love teaching students not only what I want them to do, but also how they can find their own voice. I will focus on technique, but also try to make everyone’s own personal goals a part of the lesson, implementing different teaching and learning styles into my lessons.
I have found that helping students learn their mistakes and how to grow from them helps to bring about more joy in the playing than when I just show them how to fix it. Building the problem solving skills that are required for higher level playing.
