About Hillel
Born into an international family with a father from Israel, a mother born in Russia but raised in Brazil, grandparents from India, Burma and Ukraine, and having traveled to 30 countries in my lifetime, I am well aware of the diverse makeup of our community. In my lessons, I aim to not only teach my students in a fun and dynamic manner through applying this 'worldly knowledge,' but I strive to also serve as a mentor and confidant with which my students can rely on, encouraging them to flourish and reach their full potential.

As a descendent of the Edot HaMizrach, I sing the cantallation of the Torah in the Allepo style while my Haftorah trope is uniquely Baghdadi. The sounds of these melodies are rare and intoxicatingly beautiful.
Having completed my Year 12 HSC, I would like to offer my services in training Bar/Bat-Mitzvah students in their Torah and Haftorah portions.
The first trial lesson is free and if you refer a friend you will receive an additional lesson gratis.
