About Bas
At Kip Andover we tutor any child aged 5 to 16. We help push the gifted child in English and/or Maths, pass exams e.g. SAT's /11+/ GCSE, or to fill some missing gaps in knowledge or self confidence, we are here to help.

- Classes
We offer specialist small group tuition in Maths, English and exam coaching for SATS, 11+ and GCSE. Our class sizes are maximum 5 in any session with all children being individually planned for each week.
English and Maths tuition is available from age 5 upwards. KS1 where we offer reading, spelling, phonics, handwriting and basic numeracy, through KS 2 and KS3 Maths and English, up to GCSE Maths and English help.
- Ages and Levels Covered
We offer tuition for children aged between 5 and 16.
- Opening Times
Monday to Thursday inclusive : 3.50pm to 5.10pm and 5.30pm to 6.50pm.
Fridays after school open for free assessments.
Saturday Morning: 9.30am to 10.50am.
- Tuition Fees
All sessions £28 for eighty minutes tuition. 5% reduction for second sibling or child attending twice per week, also 5% reduction for military families.
- Centre Director(s)
Centre directors are husband and wife Bas and Emma Brown. Bas Brown has been teaching for over twenty five years in both the state secondary and independent prep school sectors. He was a deputy head for six years and a headmaster of two prep schools for seven years. In addition Bas also has four years experience as a schools inspector so brings a wealth of knowledge to this new Kip McGrath franchise. Emma has twelve years teaching experience in both state secondary and prep school sectors. She is a graduate of University College, Oxford.
Emma and Bas are also parents of three children.

All families are invited to attend at the centre for a free no obligation assessment one evening after school. This assessment gives us the basis from which to plan individually for your child and gives the parent and child a chance to make an educated choice about tuition with Kip Andover.
5% reduction for second siblings or a child attending twice per week. 5% reduction for MOD families on proof of identity.
