Duration : 10 classes - Price : £150.00 - Place : London (N7 8LT)I am Priyanka Iyer, originally from India. I am learning Classical and Bollywood from the age of 9. I am 30 years now so that is 20 years of dancing!! What is special about this masterclass is I want to teach you how to get creative, how to identify beats, rhythm and what kind of costumes you can wear, what are the techniques of Bollywood dancing and how to work on facial expressions.
At the end of this masterclass, you will be able to choreograph your own dance (perform at weddings), be able to critically evaluate other's dances and perform complicated steps. I would urge Hip hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet dancers also to try this new form so that you will be able to choreograph fusions for your events.
I will also be giving a few simple assignments and tasks for you to complete. Your fitness and flexibility will improve, you will be doing cardio and strengthening along with dancing.
P.S: You do not require previous dancing experience. But just be willing to learn.

Course setup
I have been teaching over 7 years now. I have choreographed special events, sangeet for weddings as well as competitions. I have over 100 students at the moment across various time zones (Hong Kong, India, London, UAE, USA and Canada). We virtually have no dropouts in our Bollywood as well as classical sessions - because ultimately its all about having fun! Our students have gone on to pursue dancing full time as well.
