Whether you're a beginner, you've had a few lessons or you're looking for advanced techniques then I can help.
I'll mix in music theory with a good heap of practical learning to give you an in-depth understanding of Bass Guitar.
We'll dive straight into playing the instrument so you can get comfortable with a bass guitar and get as much out of each session as you can.
I have an Enhanced DBS check and have experience working in schools and colleges across the UK and with students with Educational Health and Care Plans.

Worked with James in a band. Great drummer and bass player. Has good ideas and explains things well which I think is a good quality to have for tutoring.
Woked with james for over 3 years brilliant musician always happy to go that extra step to make things work, loads of musical knowledge and bags of patience, you really can't go wrong with him.
James took me from someone who knew nothing about music, theory or otherwise; to being comfortable playing bass guitar in front of crowds with a number of different bands. He displayed great understanding, patience, and a genuine knowledge of the instrument enriched in experience from years of playing.
Incredibly helpful, incredibly patient. Played guitar for me for some time now. Very talented and very reliable.
James is a fantastic bassist with a wide musical knowledge. He never fails to bring the funk!
