About Alex
I have grown up in London, riding in the Surrey Hills for 5 years. The lack of vertical terrain taught me to make the most out of every ride. I progressed my skills there - enjoying the downhill, enduro and freeride aspects most. Since then, I have ridden in Wales, Andorra, Slovenia and most recently Canada. I spent the summer in Whistler (BC) where I gained Level 1 + 2 MTB instructor qualifications; I taught downhill mountain biking that season and progressed my riding.

Mountain biking can be a dangerous sport, but when the external risks are minimised, more fun can be had and you can progress quicker. If you have a specific goal that you are aiming at, then I can help you achieve it. By breaking down mountain biking into components, exact aspects can be focused on, so that your riding improves. Teaching mountain biking to kids has taught me to be patient and forced me to explain things in a way that is easy to understand.
