About Karabo
I am a final year undergraduate student at the University of Johannesburg currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting.
I intend on furthering my studies and become a Chartered Accountant (SA).
When I was a grade 12 learner at Thuto Pele secondary school, my teachers frequently asked me to tutor Mathematical Literacy, Accounting and Economics to grade 10, 11, 12 learners. It is from this experience that my interest in teaching peaked.

I am absolutely passionate about the subjects I tutor and this is evidenced by my choice of study, which is a Bcom degree in Accounting, and my exceptional academic performance in Grade 12 Accounting (84%) and Mathematical Literacy (85%).
I believe that understanding what a students needs, how they learn, and the pace at which they learn is important in helping them improve. As a result, I prioritize understanding my learners before I teach them.
I use a flexible teaching strategy that involves using a variety of resources to learn and practice, for instance, you tube videos, textbooks, summaries, question papers and educational apps.
