About Ai-Liang
A person may know almost no English and not even know where to begin. I help you turn English from something you study into something you can actually use.
Hello! I'm Ài-Liáng, a certified Online ESL teacher with over two years of experience helping learners from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds communicate more confidently in English.
I help adults and professionals improve their conversational and Business English, prepare for interviews and workplace communication, and build the confidence to use English in real-life situations. I also work with complete beginners and children who need to develop a strong foundation in English.
My approach is practical: instead of learning English only as a subject, we use it as a tool to communicate in your everyday life, at work, at home, while traveling, and with other people.
I hold two 120-hour TEFL certifications, additional practical teaching training, and a degree in Marketing. Outside teaching, I'm a published author who enjoys reading and writing, which reflects my passion for language, communication, and lifelong learning.

Every learner starts from a different place, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning English.
I teach you to use English progressively: simple sentences -> repetition -> everyday communication -> confidence -> fluency -> professional communication -> advanced English.
I adapt my lessons to your current level, goals, and the English you actually need in your daily life.
For complete beginners, I focus on helping you communicate from the very beginning. We start with simple, useful sentences rather than overwhelming you with grammar rules. The sentences you learn naturally introduce grammar and sentence structure while giving you language you can immediately use.
We then build through repetition and practical communication, focusing on the English you need at work, at home, with friends, while travelling, and in everyday situations. As you become more comfortable using the language, we gradually expand your vocabulary, sentence patterns, accuracy, and fluency.
For more advanced learners, I use conversation, role-play, real-life situations, targeted correction, vocabulary development, grammar support, and personalised activities to help you communicate more naturally and confidently.
I also create many of my own teaching materials and activities, allowing me to adapt lessons to your specific needs rather than relying entirely on a standard textbook.
Whether you are starting from zero or already speak English but want to communicate more confidently, my goal is the same: to help you use English, not simply study it.
