I know firsthand how much educators can shape your learning journey. As the oldest of three, I naturally stepped into a tutoring role early—helping my siblings and later volunteering in high school and college to tutor in English, math, and nursing. During nursing school, I became a mentor and loved helping peers prepare for exams. I was often told I had a way of making complex topics feel simple and approachable.
