About Lily
I plan to model my lesson plans after how I was taught violin and music theory. I didn’t learn theory first, and I didn’t pick up my bow until 2 months in. If you’re interested in violin, we will start with proper playing positions and plucking techniques. Then gradually move on to finger positions and scales. Same goes for guitar. If you would like to start with basic theory, I’m happy to help you with your notes and organization of knowledge. There is no right or wrong way to studying and learning an instrument, I’m here to help you find out what works best for you.

I can teach you to sight read, music theory basics, and we’ll have fun talking about music that inspires us. Music should be approached with the utmost enthusiasm and adventurousness, there is no limit to knowledge of music. There is always more to learn and hear and play.
