About Kaitlyn
I am currently a senior at Towson University and I am studying Early Childhood / Special Education. I am participating in a full time internship, so I have been hands on with many curriculums from Pre-K to 3rd Grade. I love to make learning fun and my goal is to help both the student and the parent better understand the content!
I absolutely love teaching and I think individualized service is beneficial to any student. I want students to be excited to learn and to feel confident when they attend school.
I have always loved children and have plenty of experience nannying. I began studying education right after high-school graduation and have loved it ever since.
I am currently in my senior year at Towson University, studying early childhood education. I have had experience in many schools and I am currently interning as a special educator. This has given me plenty of practice with one-on-one instruction. I have also been hands-on with many curriculums from Pre-K to 3rd Grade.

Before working with the student, I like to research their current curriculum and concepts so that I understand the content they are learning. When working with the student, it depends on their specific needs. I like to model and guide the student through problems and then allow them to practice independently. This allows me to give feedback and determine what additional help and support is needed.
Pre-K through 3rd Grade, including Special Education.
