About Erin
I am a dedicated computer skills tutor with over 20 years of computer literacy experience, specializing in teaching children ages 8–15. My focus is on helping beginners build a strong foundation in typing, computer navigation, and digital safety.
I have developed my own structured lessons designed to be simple, engaging, and easy to follow. I understand that many students feel overwhelmed when learning technology, so I create a patient, supportive learning environment where they can grow at their own pace.
My goal is to help each student gain confidence, independence, and practical skills they can use in school and everyday life.

My lessons are designed specifically for beginner to intermediate students ages 8–15 who are learning how to confidently use a computer. I provide a supportive, step-by-step learning environment where students can build essential digital skills at their own pace.
Each session focuses on practical, real-world skills such as:
Typing and keyboard familiarity
Basic computer navigation (mouse, files, programs)
Internet safety and responsible online behavior
Lessons are interactive and structured, using guided practice, on-screen demonstrations, and hands-on activities to keep students engaged. I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s learning level to ensure they feel comfortable and successful.
My goal is to help students not only learn the basics, but also gain confidence and independence when using technology.
