Hi, I'm Swati, and I've been learning Hindustani Classical Sitar for the past three years under the guidance of Pandit Madan Shankar Mishra ji at the Triveni Kala Sangam, mandi house.
As someone who started as a complete beginner, I understand the challenges of learning a new instrument and enjoy making the journey simple and enjoyable for others.
My lessons are designed for absolute beginners who want to build a strong foundation in sitar. We'll cover the basics of the instrument, posture, right and left-hand techniques, swaras, simple alankars, rhythm, and practice methods at a comfortable pace.
