About Julissa
Completing a degree in Modern Languages at the University of Bristol shaped my path. Spending 13 years teaching within schools allowed me to refine these methods for GCSE and A-level cohorts. I now focus on helping absolute beginners and hobbyists find their voice.
My practice emphasises liaison and nasal sounds to ensure clear communication. Reading comprehension remains a core interest. Conversational fluency is key. I offer a free trial lesson to assess your level.

Starting with a free trial lesson allows us to analyse your current standing immediately. This assessment helps us define clear objectives for your French journey.
We will examine specific nasal sounds to improve your overall pronunciation accuracy. Intermediate learners often struggle with complex grammar structures during these sessions. Travel French topics provide practical vocabulary for real-world interactions. I draw upon my PGCE training to explain difficult concepts clearly.
Exam preparation for DELF and DALF requirements remains a central focus for many students. Success depends on consistent practice.
