About John
Hi! My name is John Felton, I am a 26 year old from Canada. I have 10 years of experience studying music, I play multiple instruments but my main instrument is my voice. I have my grade 9 RCME in Voice and Advanced Rudiments RCME in Music Theory. I have studied under some fantastic teachers back in Canada, including at the University of British Columbia. My long term goal is to become a Secondary School Music Teacher, I will be beginning school for this next autumn, but in the meantime I would love to hear from you and help you out on your musical journey, whether we are just beginning or you have been singing for years.

My lessons are all about accessing the beauty of your natural voice. I teach bel canto style singing which is all about a healthy, controlled, and clean sound, especially suited to young voices, and lends itself equally to classical art song and musical theatre alike. I have grade 9 RCME in voice and Advanced Rudiments in Music Theory. The first lesson is free of charge as we get to know each other and come up with how to best work together.
