About Benny
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been tutoring Maths for many years, prior to which I was working in local schools in Southampton where my focus was tutoring small groups of pupils who experience difficulties with Maths. I also tutored individuals and groups of students in preparation for their GCSE exams and was very glad see excellent results!

I teach Mathematic at Key Stage 1 - 4 level, 11+, 13+Entrance, GCSE level (Foundation and Higher Tiers) and A Level
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Mathematics Bsc (Portsmouth University)
- How much do you charge?
Key stage 1 , 2 and 11+ entrance exam: £22 per hour.
Key stage 3 and 13+ entrance exam: £24per hour.
Key Stage 4 (year10 with no GCSE exam) : £25per hour.
GCSE Exam: £27 per hour.
A Level: £33 per hour (Please note: students will be expected to provide their own A-Level text books)
There are no hidden extras - All teaching notes, worksheets and past exam papers provided for all levels. All costs include travel.
- Where do you teach?
I usually teach in the student's home but am happy to have tutoring sessions at my home in West End, Southampton.
- When are you available?
I am available from 10.00 to 20.00 weekdays and from 10:00 to 13:00 on a Saturday.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am currently teaching students with an age range of 9 - 20 years old but will teach from 7 years old to adults.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I believe everyone has the skills and abilities to be good at Maths, for some it may be more difficult or harder to see but a understanding and patient teacher can bring those skills out of all of us that are willing to give Maths a try. I am a friendly and very reliable tutor who enjoys Maths and seeing other succeed in this subject. I provide tailor-made sessons, designed specifically for the individual in mind. I have tutored Maths for several years and have helped various students improve their performance and skills. I have a variety of techniques which I believe assist learning and development of all students.

BENNY'S TUITION HAS IMPROVED NICHOLAS' CONFIDENCE IN MATHS AND HIS SCHOOL WORK IS SHOWING A MARKED IMPROVEMENT. NICHOLAS STRUGGLED WITH BASIC MATHS, BUT NOW HAS CONFIDENCE WITH FRACTIONS AND ALGEBRA.
