About Agnes
With 8+ years of tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of teaching Trumpet to High School students, College students, and adults. Throughout this journey, I have successfully guided around 300 students towards achieving their educational and personal goals. I enjoy helping students discover their strengths while overcoming learning challenges.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating lessons that are simple, engaging, and student-centred. I believe every learner progresses at a different pace, so I customise my teaching methods to suit individual needs. I explain concepts using simple English, practical demonstrations, and interactive activities that encourage active learning.
Every lesson includes structured instruction, guided practice, progress reviews, and constructive feedback. I encourage students to practise consistently and celebrate every improvement they make. This helps build confidence and creates long-term success.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of the most meaningful milestones in my teaching career. Many learners have improved their skills, achieved excellent results, and become more confident through personalised support and dedication.
I value honesty, communication, respect, and encouragement in every lesson. My classroom is welcoming and supportive, allowing students to learn comfortably while enjoying the process of mastering Trumpet.

My Trumpet teaching methodology combines traditional musical techniques with personalised learning strategies. I use Communication to create an open learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their challenges.
Since every learner has different strengths, I apply Adaptation to Learning Styles to provide lessons that match their individual needs. I use Real-life examples and case studies from professional performances, famous trumpet artists, and musical groups to make learning more meaningful.
Besides Trumpet, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Practice, Sight Reading, Improvisation, and Performance Preparation. My lessons cover essential areas such as breath control, embouchure, tone development, articulation, and musical interpretation. I focus on helping students build confidence and enjoy their musical progress.
